AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- Manuscript Types
We encourage the following types of submissions:- Original research articles
- Reviews of books or exhibitions
- Biographical essays
- Correspondences with Jain scholars or practitioners
- Translations of texts from South Asian languages
- Notes on museum collections, libraries, and manuscript archives
- Field reports from archaeological sites
- Ethnographic fieldwork notes
- Studies of technical terms
- Submission Process

- Manuscripts should be submitted via the links at the top of this page.
- Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) and pdf format.
- Text should be in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
- Margins should be 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Include continuous line numbering throughout the manuscript.
- Authors should use Roman transliteration with diacritics. For Sanskrit and Prakrit, IAST may be used. The Library of Congress Romanization may be used for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu. For other Indic languages, follow ISO-15919.
- Manuscript Structure
Title Page
The title page of the paper should include:

- complete contact information for each author, including first and last names, academic degree(s), honorary title(s) or designation(s), affiliation, address, phone number, and e-mail address
Abstract & Keywords

- Abstract: A concise summary (150–250 words) highlighting the research purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusion.
- Keywords: 4–6 keywords in alphabetic order for indexing purposes.
References

- All citations and references must follow MLA style
- The Works Cited section must be in alphabetical order and formatted according to MLA 9th edition
- Examples:

- Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Materials

- Figures should be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
- Tables should be numbered consecutively and included within the manuscript text.
- Supplementary materials (datasets, appendices) should be submitted as separate files.
- Ethical Considerations

- Manuscripts should be original work.
- If AI has been used, it must be disclosed. Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.
- Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical guidelines and include approval from an institutional ethics committee.
- Peer Review Process

- This journal follows a double-blind peer review process.
- The editorial team assesses the manuscript for scope, originality, and quality.
- Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent experts. Based on reviewer feedback, the manuscript may be accepted, revised, or rejected.
- Open Access & Copyright

- All articles are published under an open-access model
- Authors retain copyright to their articles
- Post-Acceptance and Proofs

- Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, typesetting, and final proof approval. Authors will receive page proofs for final corrections before publication.
